Another day, a normal day here in Erfoud, south east Morocco. I went to the market to get some groceries, fruits and vegetables. Erfoud market is in the city center just opposite of the grand taxi and bus stop.
I got lots of stuff, the normal weekly shopping.
I made a small list of the things I bought today just to share with you so that you can have a general idea of how much things cost here in south Morocco (yes prices are different depending of the city).

Hi there,
great blog you have here. I m going to Casablanca, but I ll be on my own (as a girl) and would love a good, safe and (very) cheap hotel in town. Can you recommend any ?
Heard about Oum Palace, but I think it is too expensive. What do you think ?
I d greatly benifit from your experience, and would really appreciate your any advice.

Hi,
I am looking for No. 1 quality premium dates (Maajoul) at the lowest prices possible amoung moslem countries. Based on your experience in which country would I have the best chance to find (Morocco, Algeria, …)?
Thanks Much
Hamid
